Configuring the Jiwa File Watcher Service

The Jiwa File Watcher service is configured by editing the JiwaFileWatcher.exe.config file. This should be done on the same machine as configuration of the Jiwa CSV Import. The content of the file is detailed below:

This configuration needs to be modified to work with Paxar as follows:

Name setting - set to a descriptive name e.g. PaxarImport
Folder settings (FolderToWatch, SucceededFolder, FailedFolder and PendingFolder) - set according to the location of where the Paxar system is configured to produce the CSV files.
WorkerPathAndFileName - must be set to "C:\Program Files\Jiwa Financials\Jiwa\Jiwa CSV Import\JiwaCSVImport.exe" (or the appropriate path for the program)
Set the Jiwa File Watcher Service properties to start automatically on machine start-up. This will cause the service to start should the machine it is installed on is rebooted.
Control Panel Administrative Tools Services. Right click JiwaFileWatcher service, and select Properties

Select Automatic and then Start in the Services Status section

The Jiwa File Watcher service should now have started
